Mia worked in a hospital where her role was to keep the deteriorating establishment clean of defecating smells. She spent all day swishing a mop side to side on an area she cleaned over a hundred times. The windows were wiped, but they never stayed free of hand prints from the other patients begging to be released. At the end of the day when she received her pay from her superiors she noticed something different about her reward. There was one extra pill and she questioned, “One more.”
“We wouldn’t want to loose another good worker like you.” so, she took her medication. They handed her a mop and she began her next shift until closing time.
