On days off I like to assemble pieces of jewelry and hand make a few pieces using beads and chains.
At first it helped with stress, but over time I liked looking at things that glitter. It’s definitely candy for the eye and makes me think back to a time where I sold my mother’s gold chain for forty dollars at the pawn shop.
It was the only piece of real jewelry I owned and looked great on me.
I was in high school at the time and I was using two ear rings for my snakebites. With the forty dollars, I went to Walmart and bought two pair or gold studs with the flat backs.
Fun fact, my wedding ring is the only piece of real jewelry I own. The pieces I assemble come from good compositions though. Tested, saged, and adored by me, The Assembler.
