I Got Rid of My Books

I got rid of the books on two bookshelves and packed them in one giant Amazon box. I cant remember what I ordered that would warrant such a box large and deep enough to hold over 100 books but thank goodness I had it.

Before the cleanup, I thought of the last novel I read that really connected with me. It was four years ago and since then I gave up on three and I finished two urban novels. Other than that, I mostly read obscure manga. Quick reads.

Now that my books are away, it worries me. In order to perfect my skills as a writer, I have to keep reading. Its suggested to read your favorite authors and adapt their techniques and styles. I have while incorporating myself into my work, but there’s a looming fear if I’m not reading, I’m missing out on some valuable information in my field, and that’s just in literature.

I got rid of my books because I needed the space in my studio. Bugs were also hiding between the covers of the books and the dark shelf. I’m not going to stop reading! It’s one of my favorite hobbies. But now that means I have to upgrade my kindle.
