I’m on a quest

I’m on a quest to use up my art supplies only drawing my original characters and the symbolism of my series. I have,

• Watercolors
• Oil pastels
• Oil paints
• Acrylics
• Ceramic pottery clay
• Jewelry

This is what I have so far of my characters using oil pastels. I don’t plan on expanding my knowledge of this medium unless I so happen to learn a hack along the way. I do enjoy using oil pastels for the rich pigment in colors.

Scratch that, one thing I do want to learn is how to blend.

I’m surprised I completed these drawings within a couple of hours. Finally given some alone time in the house, I entered a creative flow to where once I finished one, I wanted to finish another.

As of right now, it feels as if I’m undergoing a transformation and in this process I’m battling myself. The closer I get to the goal, the harder I’m becoming on my inner being. It’s expected though. I sense the self doubt creeping up through moments of introspection and I pray to God that I remain consciously aware of it and capable of handling whatever comes in the end to the best of my abilities.

Prayers become dreams, dreams become day visions, day visions turn into acts of manifestations, and actions of manifestations become our reality.
