Keep Going

I have no option, but to keep going.

This year’s been going by so far so good with my goals in diving fully into my passion. Whatever comes aside art and literature is like side quest I’m completing on this journey. If you’re a gamer, it’s like accidently completing a side mission without your knowledge and collecting the rewards. I love when that happens.

I was watching a preview on a video from a Master Class session where the speaker was saying something along the lines of “Once you discover that world and the characters that belong in it, it becomes YOUR WORLD. And until you express that world, it will claw at your brain until you express it.” When I come across that speaker and his class, I’ll be sure to take down his name and watch the entire video myself. His words stuck with me. It’s been how I’ve been feeling since last year of starting this project.

Now that I’ve been seeing progress in my work, I have to keep going. If I dont, it will probsbly be a huge regret. Another way I keep going is by telling myself, “you have so much time as it is. Express yourself now. In 200 years, no one will care and of they do, congratulations.  You made a little difference in the universe. Have fun.”

Are you working on a project that has now consumed your every thought outside of your responsibilities? Congratulations if you have. That’s your passion project, whatever it is and no matter what people say, you have to keep going. You have to finish whatever it is your committed to, to the very end. No matter if it’s perfect or not.
