I’m so ready to move onto my series. I already have the first draft written and edited, but I had to put the entire manuscript on the shelf to finish the prequel to the entire series.
Currently I’m working on a novella about a man who’s nowhere where he wants to be in life and is forced to make something happen. Luckily for him, just as it’s getting rough at home, he finds a way out. I’ve been holding onto this story for eight years. I still remember when the idea came to me, deep in a weed addiction and suddenly turning to God. I’m shocked this story still gives me such a blissful feeling despite it being on the horror side.
As I’m revising this novel, I’m drawing manga panels based on how I envision the story. It helps with visualization and I’m also using this method for my series. If you’ve been following me on social media, those characters I draw are my O.C, original concept characters.
Now that I know how to use my blog properly, I’ll write more here than on social media. I’m trying to cut back on those sites and focus on long projects.
